So, I'm *completely obsessed* with wagashi-- exquisite Japanese treats. I've always been inspired by Japanese arts, and when I came across wagashi I could barely contain my excitement.
They are tiny, sweet, edible sculptures most often made out of mochi, jellies, and fruits, and with colors and textures that sculptors like me find enviable.
I predict that within 24 months wagashi will be the next NYC dessert craze. Seriously, who could resist such charming deliciousness?
